Homewood's Izaak Walton Preserve Holds Photo Contest
Izaak Walton Preserve is holding its first photo contest and will publish winning pictures in an upcoming calendar.

HOMEWOOD, IL – Izaak Walton Preserve is holding its first photo contest, and is looking for your pictures of the park. The top 12 winning images will be used in a 2020 calendar that will be published as a fundraiser.

They are seeking images of landscapes, animals, plants, weather.

Rules:
1. Please submit high-resolution up to four images of the preserve by posting them to the page, private messaging them to the page, or emailing them to fb@homewoodizaakwalton.com by the September 15 deadline.
2. Label the posted or emailed submissions with "Calendar" in the subject line.
3. No watermarks or names on the images.
4. The photo(s) must be one taken at HIWP.
After that, the images will be posted for a week in a “calendar” album. Preserve fans will be able to "like" up to 12 images. Then an independent panel of judges will make the final choices from the top 15 images.
More details will be available soon as to how to order your copy of the 2020 calendar containing the winning images at the annual Izaak Walton Art Show in late October or early November.

***Please note that by submitting your images, should your image(s) be chosen you give the Homewood Izaak Walton Preserve the right and privilege of printing the image(s), for the purpose of being included in its 2020 calendar. All proceeds from said calendar shall benefit the Homewood Izaak Walton Preserve.
