Motorcyclist Killed In Crash In Homewood
Police said the crash happened near the 1200 block of 183rd Street.
HOMEWOOD, IL — A Markham man died Saturday when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a car in Homewood, police said.
Shortly after 9:30 a.m., police responded to the intersection of 183rd Street and Hood Avenue after receiving a call about a car vs. motorcycle crash.
Upon arrival, officers learned that the motorcycle was traveling westbound in the 1200 block of 183rd Street when it struck a car traveling northbound on Hood Avenue as it crossed 183rd Street.

The 42-year-old driver of the motorcycle was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. His name is being withheld pending notification of family.
The crash remains under investigation.
