"As a company, we want to be judged not only by the service we provide, but also for what we do to improve the quality of life for all people in the places where we live and work," former Nicor Gas President Melvin Williams said of the initiative before his retirement. "We hope that our pledge to volunteerism inspires others to make the same commitment, not just on one day or week, but throughout the year."
Restoration Ministries hosts Nicor Gas volunteers several times throughout the year during Volunteer Week and the holiday season.
