HOMEWOOD, IL — The following obituary was submitted by James Kinney.
Barbara A. Kelly of Plainfield, and a Homewood resident of 25 years, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on Saturday, July 31, 2021 in Bolingbrook. Barbara was born on May 15, 1947, in Chicago, to James and Ann (nee Lynch) Murphy.
Barbara had a distinguished career as legal secretary and after retirement was a very active participant in the many groups to which she belonged. She will be remembered as someone who loved life and all its many adventures – there was nothing she enjoyed more than taking a drive or spending time with her close-knit group of friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
