Plan Seeks Sale Of Ridge Road Building For $1, Village Opens Bidding
A Mongolian BBQ restaurant could go into the space at 2020 Ridge Rd. The Village is open to other plans, accepting proposals until June 11.

HOMEWOOD, IL — A potential business owner is seeking to buy and renovate a Village-owned building on Ridge Road for development as a Mongolian BBQ restaurant, for a price tag of $1. Officials said Wednesday they're considering the sale, and will accept alternate proposals for the property.
Grace Yan Cui, of Chicago Investment Group, has proposed to buy the 3,900-sq. ft. building at 2020 Ridge Rd., with plans to open the restaurant, to be called Gyumon. The proposal is available for viewing online, or copies can be picked up at the Village Clerk's office at Village Hall, 2020 Chestnut Rd., Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Village said Wednesday it's opening the bidding to other proposals. Alternate proposals for the sale and development of the property can be submitted to the Village by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11.

All proposals will be publicly opened and read at the Village Board meeting beginning at 7 p.m. on June 11.
