1 Detained After Search For Man Who Fled Traffic Stop: Flossmoor Police
"There is no longer a police search in the Flossmoor Park neighborhood," according to the update. "A follow-up investigation continues."
FLOSSMOOR, IL — Flossmoor police detained a person after they said a man fled a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon, according to an update Tuesday evening.
At approximately 4:50 p.m., Flossmoor police conducted a traffic stop at Western Avenue and Flossmoor Road. The driver exited the vehicle and fled eastbound into the Flossmoor Park neighborhood near Carroll Parkway and Evans Road, police said.
During a search of the vehicle, officers recovered a handgun.
