Liz's Mindful Mondays: Weekly Reflections + Inspiration from the Heart of Serendipity Yoga and Wellness

Dear Reader,
This weekend, Jeremy and I went to a concert, and almost immediately, we realized it was not what we had paid for or how we wanted to spend our date night. Instead of staying and draining our energy, we chose to leave.
This reminded me of something so important: every time you say no to what does not feel right, you keep a piece of yourself. Every time you say yes out of guilt or obligation, you give a piece away. Protecting your energy is not selfish; it is sacred.

The more you honor those pieces, the more you protect your peace. You were not meant to live depleted. You were meant to live fully. Honor what feels true. Choose what aligns. This is how your body, your heart, and your nervous system learn to trust you.
With love and gratitude,
Liz

Inspire | “Strength is found within you, in your muscles, your bones, your spirit, and your beliefs. How you use it influences the harmony in your life. Sustain your power by moving forward with intention.” Unknown
Explore | I’ve been loving my new clothes from Three Bird Nest. They are soft, flowy, and so comfortable, perfect for my time on the mat and as everyday wear. If you’re looking for pieces that feel as good as they look, I definitely recommend checking them out!
Try This | Sit comfortably and bring your attention to the natural flow of your breath as it enters and leaves through your nostrils. Notice the coolness of the inhale and the comparative warmth of the exhale without trying to change anything. Each time your mind wanders, gently return to the breath and rest in its steady rhythm.
