Car Plunges into Hyde Park Lagoon Saturday
The car went off South Cornell Drive after 2 a.m.
A driver lost control of a car in the 5900 block of South Cornell Drive just after 2 a.m. Saturday, went off the road and into a lagoon in Hyde Park, according to police. Both the driver and a passenger were able to escape the vehicle before it sank. The car was pulled the car from the lagoon early Saturday morning.
