A Penpal of Mine in Nigeria Finally Gets His Covid Vaccination

Today there is war in Ukraine. Heretofore since March 2020, there has been the worldwide pandemic of Covid ... and a war by humanity against this disease.

For Covid, it turns out that vaccines distributed by wealthier countries to poorer countries, have not always arrived easily into the arms of citizens.

I have a Facebook Messenger friend in Nigeria, who is a college student at the University of Abuja, in the capital city Ajuja, in Nigeria.

He wrote a week ago to me, that the President of Nigeria has been collecting $700 bribes per Covid vaccination-shot. He sent me evidence of this $700 per-person per-vaccine-shot's cost. That evidence is the photo, above, of the letter.

I wrote, to the US consul in Nigeria:

Dear US Consul, Nigeria,

I know you are aware that Nigerians have suffered a demand from the Nigerian President for a $700 per shot BRIBE to receive a Covid vaccination. Please see the attached document.

Please report to me and to the American people what the United States is doing to eliminate the need of Nigerians to pay $700 for each Covid vaccination shot. Apparently this $700 bribe goes to the President of Nigeria.

Sincerely,
Sid Colton"

About one day after this email, my friend David in Nigeria received an appointment for his first Covid vaccination-shot. His vaccination-shot should be happening about now. And, just now my friend David writes that ALL of the students of his college in the Nigerian capital ... have become eligible TODAY for $0.00 Covid vaccination-shots, directly because of the emailed-letter above, that I sent to the American Consul in Nigeria, yesterday.

My message: Don't think your voice makes no difference. If you have time to speak up against some injustice or to help some unfairly-victimized person or people ... you can make an important difference.
