45 Bags of Heroin Found During Traffic Stop — Men & Woman From Wilmington Arrested: Cops

The three were charged with possessing heroin.

BRAIDWOOD, IL — Two men and a woman from Wilmington were caught holding heroin during a Wednesday afternoon traffic stop, police said.

Nicholas Findlay, 27, Nicholes Hanson, 29, and Haley Paulsen, 26, all were booked into the Will County jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance.

The Braidwood police reportedly seized 45 bags of heroin weighing about 13 grams.

Findlay, Hanson and Paulsen were pulled over about 4 p.m. They were riding in a car with a loud muffler and no license plates, police said.

Braidwood Police Chief Nick Ficarello thanked the Drug Enforcement Administration for its assistance and support. Ficarello also said his department was investigating drug issues in the city and that “our doors are always open for individuals seeking help for their addiction.”

“Together as a community we can take drugs off the street and reach out to people wanting to get help,” Ficarello said.
