Ace Drive-In Opens for the Season; BOGO at Jody's Express
If you doubted the arrival of Spring, here is a sure sign it is here.
At 11 a.m., Monday, Ace Drive-In opened for the 2013 season. Residents on the business' Facebook page were thrilled by the announcement, with a reader named Dillon saying,
"Taking the fiancé out for her first visit tonight. Looking forward to a nice cold Ace Rootbeer float!"

- Jody's Express, which we told you about last week, is now open in the Shell station on the corner of Larkin Avenue and McDonough Street. Through the month of April, co-owner Mike Villareal said he will have a buy one hot dog get one hot dog free special if you mention Patch.
- On the Rocks, a bar on Essington Road in Joliet, has a sign out in front of the plaza saying they will be opening soon and are under new management.
