New York Times runs USF Student's Photo

Shannon Olsen, University of St. Francis student, saw her photography featured in The New York Times' Readers Photos: School Is in Session on Aug. 28.

After learning of the contest via Chester Costello, chair of USF’s Art & Design program, Olsen submitted a photograph featuring fellow student Korie Andrews.

In the photo, Andrews is depicted in several outfits while wearing a masquerade mask. Each view of Andrews represents a different persona during her college journey.

Olsen, a Las Vegas, Nev. native majoring in photography with a minor in marketing, plans to graduate next year.
