JOLIET, IL —Dr. Ann Marie Bodach of Joliet, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly at her home on August 7, 2025. She was born on August 12, 1973.
Ann was a dedicated educator who earned two master's degrees and a doctorate in education from the University of St. Francis. She taught with love and commitment at Wesmere Elementary School in Plainfield and previously at St. Paul the Apostle School in Joliet where she touched the lives of many students and colleagues.

Ann is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Lester L. and Mildred A. Bodach and maternal grandparents Robert W. and Annabelle M. Thomas. Ann is survived by her parents, Robert C. and Ann E. Bodach of Joliet; her brothers, Robert W. (Tracy Caswell) Bodach of Shorewood, and Michael L. (Renee) Bodach of New Lenox; and her nieces, Evelyn Marie and Charlotte Rose Bodach.
Ann is survived by her godparents, L. Barrett and Anne Bodach; her uncles and aunts, Robert M. and Barbara Thomas, and William E. and Patricia Bodach; as well as her cousins, Alexandra Thomas, Mary Bodach, Katie (Joel) Domanowski, John (Sarah) Bodach, Karen (David) Bireta, and Theresa Bodach and their families.

Ann's love for being a daughter, sister, aunt, friend and educator shone through on a daily basis through acts of kindness and her evident passion. As a daughter and sister, she gave constant love. As an aunt, she truly enjoyed every second she spent with her nieces and the joy they brought each other. As an educator, she strived to be the best she could be.
Ann will be remembered for her love of family, her kind spirit, dedication to learning and the many lives she helped shape.
Visitation for Dr. Ann Bodach will take place on Monday, August 11, 2025 from 4:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. at FARKAS FUNERAL HOME, 3201 W. JEFFERSON ST, JOLIET, IL 60431. Funeral service will take place the next day, Tuesday, August 12, 2025 beginning with prayers at 9:30a.m. from Farkas Funeral Home followed by a procession to Queen of Apostles, 18 Woodlawn Ave., Joliet, IL 60435 for 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial.
