Armed Robber Wanted For Speedway Stickup: Cops

UNIVERSITY PARK, IL — A University Park man was charged with an October armed robbery at a Speedway station.

Brian Wright, 47, pulled a gun on a clerk at the Speedway on Western Avenue in University Park and stole cash and cigarettes, according to a criminal complaint on file in Will County court.

Wright faces charges of armed robbery and aggravated robbery. The warrant for his arrest carries a $1 million bond.

Wright remains at large. The arrest warrant says he lives on Red Oak Lane in University Park.
