Armed Robbers Flee After Tying Up Sprint Store Workers But Got Caught Making Getaway: Cops
The two crooks were caught with a back seat full of iPhones, police said.

JOLIET, IL — Two armed robbers tied up Sprint store workers and made off with a load of iPhones, police said, but got caught making their getaway.
The two men — D’Angelo King, 20, of Bourbonnais and 20-year-old Jalil Williams of Kankakee — struck at Air 1 Wireless about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, police said, tying up two employees before absconding with iPhones and possibly additional proceeds.
A witness from a nearby business spotted King and Williams fleeing from the Sprint store, police said. The witness reportedly called the cops and provided a description of the car, including a partial license plate number.

Through the car’s rear window, officers could see an abundance of cell phones in the back seat, police said. The cops were reportedly attempting to obtain a search warrant for the car Wednesday afternoon.
