Bolingbrook Man a Heart (Monitor) Breaker: Cops

A Bolingbrook man smashed a fire department-owned heart monitor on the way to the hospital, police said.

Christiaan Kinne, 33, went from Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital to the Will County jail on Sept. 11.

Officers were sent to Kinne’s Boughton Road home early that morning to conduct a welfare check on him, police said. Due to his “level of intoxication and past medical history,” the officers reportedly decided to have Kinne taken to the hospital.

“Prior to entering the ambulance Christiaan punched a portable cardiac monitor twice, cracking the screen on the monitor,” police said.
