Brandon Road Bridge Won't Open Till March 20 — At Best
The bridge has been closed since December.

JOLIET, IL — The Brandon Road bridge will remain closed until at least March 20, the Illinois Department of Transportation announced Tuesday.
"The structure that carries Brandon Road over the Des Plaines River was closed for repairs in December," according to an IDOT press release. "The bridge closure is extended due to a delay in equipment."
IDOT advised drivers to use the McDonough Street bridge as a Des Plaines River crossing.
