Burglar On The Loose As Plainfield Road Business Victimized, Area Schools Notified By Crest Hill Police

Crest Hill police provided details of the suspect who burglarized a local business early Thursday.

CREST HILL, IL — The Crest Hill Police Department announced on Facebook that officers were out investigating a burglary to a business in the 2400 block of Plainfield Road that was discovered just before 7 a.m. Thursday.

Witnesses saw a suspect in the area, possibly a black male wearing a tan Carhartt-style jacket, jeans and black gloves carrying a black bag, police revealed.

Richland and Joliet Montessori schools have been notified and are taking proper precautions. Anyone with information or video of a suspicious person are asked to contact the Crest Hill Police Department at 815-741-5115, the agency said.
