Can Rialto Hold Shows In Light Of The Asbestos Removal Taking Place?
All tests have come back with results that show there has been no asbestos contamination within the areas tested, Rialto staff said.

JOLIET — Shane Richards, director of hospitality and marketing services for the Rialto Square Theatre, issued a press release in connection with "the recent concerns announced by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency regarding an asbestos abatement violation observed by the EPA."
According to the Rialto's version of events:
"This violation was made by the contractor working on the asbestos abatement project within our facility. Upon receiving notice of the violation, the Rialto Square Theatre promptly hired a third-party Illinois Department of Public Health Licensed Asbestos Project Manager. This professional has been tasked with inspecting the affected areas, decontaminating the site, and developing a comprehensive remediation plan to address the issue effectively and safely."
