City Hiring Summer Temp Workers

JOLIET, IL — The City of Joliet is hiring temporary summer workers.

The city is accepting applications for such positions as laboratory intern, forestry intern and laborer.

Applicants must be at least 18. Those hired will work less than a total of 500 hours from about May through September.

The pay is $10 an hour and there are no benefits.

Complete job descriptions and applications are available on the city’s website or at the City Hall Human Resources office. City Hall is at 150 W. Jefferson St.

The deadline to apply is March 16 at 4:30 p.m. but the application process can shut down early if all the positions are filled.
