Cops Called to Kick Unwanted, Intoxicated Man Out of Bar, Then Arrest Him For Speeding Away Drunk: Police

He was kicked out of the bar and sped away drunk, police said.

JOLIET, IL — An unwanted, intoxicated man was ejected from a Collins Street bar by the cops, who then arrested him for speeding away drunk in a pickup truck, police said.

Armando Campa, 30, wore out his welcome at the tavern and the cops were called to get him out of there about 2:15 a.m. Thursday, police said.

Officers reportedly escorted Campa out of the bar and he climbed into his pickup and sped off. He was pulled over near the corner of Collins and Hills avenues.

At the police station, Campa was uncooperative and struggled with officers, police said, pulling one by the hair and the other by his necktie.

Campa was taken to the Will County jail.
