Cops Trying to Return Valuables From Seized Treasure Trove to Owners
The woman caught with the jewelry, coins, watches and cash claimed none of it belonged to her, police said.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Police said a treasure trove of jewelry, watches, coins and collectible money recently seized from a woman charged with possessing prescription drugs may be the proceeds from ruse burglaries, and they are looking to return the property to its owners.
Bolingbrook Public Safety Director Tom Ross pointed out that family heirlooms may be among the pile of jewelry and other valuables confiscated during a traffic stop and arrest last month.
“People want them back, and we want to get it back to them,” Ross said.

The cops came across the shocking stock of valuables when they arrested 51-year-old Patsy Miller last month. Miller claimed none of the property belonged to her, Ross said, so the cops took it. The assets have since been legally forfeited to the police.
The police also seized Miller’s 2005 Acura and $3,369 in cash.
