Creepy Neighbor Allegedly Aimed Secret Attic Camera at Family’s Bathroom Window
The neighbor has a felony warrant out for his arrest.

PLAINFIELD, IL — A Plainfield woman accused her neighbor of secretly recording her family in their bathroom, and the man up the street now has a felony warrant out for his arrest.
John Migetz, 57, faces charges of unauthorized video recording and unauthorized video recording outside a residence.
A woman living down the street from Migetz told of discovering how he had been spying on her, her husband and children.

“John’s wife had called the police because she had found a high tech camera system in their attic,” the woman said in a petition for a protective order.
“He had drilled two holes through his wall so the camera aimed directly down into my bathroom window,” she said. “The police looked at some footage and found it was of me, my husband and children. The police say they believe there was more but they need a warrant.”

The woman also said Migetz is “overly friendly” to her and her children.
“John is obsessed with me and his wife has told me there is more but she would not say what it was,” the neighbor said.
Migetz works as a an operations technology manager for McDonald’s, according to his LinkedIn page.
