Detectives Pose as Little Boys, Catch Man Soliciting ‘Sexual Favors’ From Children: Cops
The Schaumburg man was looking on Craigslist to get sex acts from a boy, police said.

CREST HILL, IL — Detectives posed as young boys to set a trap for a Schaumburg man who was looking on Craigslist to get “sexual favors” from children, police said.
Jacob Daniel Austin, 27, was arrested Thursday when he showed up at a Crest Hill restaurant expecting to meet a boy for sex and instead ran into the cops, police said.
Detectives put an eye on Austin after they noticed he was “soliciting minors for sexual favors,” police said.

Detectives posed first as a 10-year-old boy and then as a 13-year-old, and were able to set up a meeting with Austin “with promises of sex acts,” police said.
Austin was taken to the Will County jail. He was scheduled to appear in court Friday.
