JOLIET — The Joliet Police Department announced that 44-year-old resident Jose Rangel has been charged with criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstructing a peace officer following an incident over the weekend on Collins Street.

According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, at 9:29 p.m. on June 29, officers responded to Azteca de Oro Salon at 1013 Collins Street for a disturbance. At the scene, police said officers learned that Rangel was at this location and threatening security guards.

Rangel had been previously banned from the location by security, and he refused to leave when ordered by security guards, according to English.
