Downtown Rib Place’s Kitchen Consumed By Fire

JOLIET, IL — A Thursday morning fire burned up the kitchen of Chicago Style Ribs.

No one was injured in the blaze at the Chicago Street restaurant.

The owner of the downtown restaurant reportedly tried to douse the blaze himself before calling the fire department. The owner was the only person present at the time, according to the fire department.

The Will County Health Department was reportedly called in to inspect the business after the fire was extinguished.
