Flasher At Burlington Coat Factory Spit On Joliet Police Officer's Arm: Prosecutors
This marks the fourth time in less than three years that 30-year-old Ricardo Sarmiento is in the Will County Jail.

JOLIET, IL — The Will County State's Attorney's Office has filed criminal charges of aggravated battery, resisting a peace officer and public indecency against 30-year-old Joliet man Ricardo Sarmiento, who lists Joliet's Daybreak Shelter on East Cass Street as his place of residence.
An incident of public exposure happened last week in Joliet at the new Burlington Coat Factory at 2900 Plainfield Road, the complaint noted. On July 31, Sarmiento "knowingly exposed his sex organ in a lewd manner with the intent to arouse or satisfy the sexual desire of the defendant," the complaint noted.
As for his other two charges, Sarmiento made physical contact with Joliet police officer Christopher Ibarra "in that said defendant spit on Officer Christopher Ibarra's arm," the court files show. As for the resisting a peace officer charge, court documents indicate that Sarmiento knowingly obstructed the performance of Officer Ibarra by refusing to be fingerprinted.
