Fugitive Killer Jailed in Joliet: Prosecutors
The Calumet City man was wanted on a murder charge in Iowa.

JOLIET, IL — A Calumet City man wanted in connection with an Iowa murder has been apprehended and was jailed in Joliet.
Eric Campbell, 30, was locked up last week in the Will County jail. Campbell appeared in court the day after his arrest and waived his right to an extradition hearing.
U.S. Marshals captured Campbell and 30-year-old Savanna Stotlar in Calumet City, according to the Newton Daily News.

“Both were charged in connection with the robbery and shooting death of 21-year-old Collin A. Brown,” the Daily News reported.
Six others were also charged in connection with Brown’s robbery and murder, according to the Telegraph Herald in Dubuque, IA.

“Court documents state three people broke into the trailer at the Table Mound Trailer Park that Brown shared with Alecea K. Lombardi, 21, while they were both home,” the Telegraph Herald reported.
“Following a struggle, Brown was able to run out of the trailer and was shot trying to enter a neighboring trailer, and later died at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque, according to court documents,” the Telegraph Herald said.
