Heroin Dealer Nabbed on His Way Out of Braidwood: Cops
The Chicago man had just sold 25 bags of heroin, police said.

BRAIDWOOD, IL — A Heroin dealer from Chicago was nabbed on his way out of Braidwood after making a sale Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Cardale Ray, 31, had just sold 25 bags of heroin when he was pulled over and arrested about 2:30 p.m.
“Information of the purported delivery was provided by a confidential source,” said Braidwood Police Chief Nick Ficarello.

The heroin weighed about 8 grams, according to police.
Ficarello said Braidwood Mayor James Vehrs has received and passed along tips from residents concerned about heroin dealing and use in the city.

“The mayor of Braidwood is providing a lot of information from citizens that trust him not to reveal their identities, and these citizens have been advising him that more and more individuals are coming out of Chicago to make deliveries in the Braidwood area,” Ficarello said. “After this arrest, it appears to be happening.”
