Hold That Garbage! Refuse Collection Pushed Back a Day Due to Xmas
Merry Christmas! City Hall will be closed and the parking decks will be free on two days.
JOLIET, IL — Garbage and recycling collection will be pushed back a day during the weeks of Dec. 26 and Jan. 2 due to the holidays. The regular schedule will resume the week of Jan. 9.
Also, City Hall will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26, and Monday, Jan. Municipal parking decks will be free of charge on those days and there will be no parking meter enforcement.
