Hufford Junior High Honors Orchestra Tour Joliet

The Hufford Junior High School Honors Orchestra (H2O) toured the City of Joliet spreading holiday cheer by performing seasonal music at several locations. The morning began with an appearance on the Scott Slocum in the Morning Show on 1340AM WJOL. Additional stops included visits at the City of Joliet Mayor’s Office, the Joliet Police Department, the Joliet Fire Department, and the Joliet Public Schools District 86 administrative offices.

The H2O student musicians include Sonny Aguilar, David Aguirre, Evan Amaro, Leslie Blanco, Joel Cadena, Satzuki Escobedo, Janessa Fuentes, Jacob Heredia, Parker Hopkins, Faye Jones, Ingrid Loera, Denise Mendoza, Elizabeth Patino, Anthony Solache, and Glenn Thomas. The Hufford Honors Orchestra is directed by Hufford Junior High School orchestra teacher Clifford Hunt. The students in the Honors Orchestra volunteer to stay after school one day each week to practice and learn new music alongside their classmates and director Mr. Hunt.
