Info ‘Trickling In’ About Missing Mom: Cops

The missing mom left Palos Community Hospital two days after Christmas, and her friends and family have apparently not seen her since.

JOLIET, IL — Detectives investigating the disappearance of a mother who vanished shortly after Christmas have received some information but “nothing of substance,” police said.

“We’re following up on leads,” said Shorewood Deputy Police Chief Jason Barten. “Things are trickling in.”

Melissa Sue Ronczkowski, 27, was last seen leaving Palos Community Hospital on Dec. 27, police said. Her mother, who lives in Shorewood, reported her missing to that town’s police department on Jan. 25.
