JOLIET —The polls have closed in Will and Kendall Counties and votes are being tallied for the Joliet City Council three open at-large seats in the spring elections. The unofficial polling results from Will County showed that incumbent Joliet City Council members Jan Quillman and Joe Clement, along with Juan Moreno, were the top three getters of the five names on the ballot.

Clement and Quillman were on the ballot seeking re-election and their candidacy was also teaming up to support challenger Juan Moreno. All three had the support of roughly 20 building trades and labor union groups.

On Tuesday night, Joliet Patch interviewed Quillman and Clement at their victory party held at McBride's On 52 on Joliet's West Jefferson Street.
