Joliet High School Athletic Teams Win Academic Achievement Awards

JOLIET, IL — Nine Joliet Township High School fall athletic teams were recently awarded the fall 2016-2017 IHSA Team Academic Achievement Award. The award recognizes teams that maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher throughout their respective season. The program is designed to reward teamwork not only in competition, but in the classroom as well.

The Joliet Central teams that achieved the IHSA Team Academic Achievement Award were boys cross country, girls volleyball and girls cross country.

The Joliet West teams that achieved the IHSA Team Academic Achievement Award were girls volleyball, girls cross country and boys cross country.

The Joliet Township High School District teams that achieved the IHSA Team Academic Achievement Award were girls tennis, girls golf and boys golf.
