Joliet Man Exposed Himself To Child On Metra Train, Had Gun: Police

JOLIET, IL — A 27-year-old Joliet man faces multiple charges after police said he exposed himself to a child on a Metra train on Wednesday and then fled from police after leaving the bag behind that had a gun inside, police said Thursday.

Terrance Williams was arrested around 11:40 a.m. on Wednesday after the incident that police said on an inbound Metra train toward Joliet. Police said Williams reportedly exposed himself and then when he was approached by police, which asked to see his bag, Williams ran off and left the bag behind, police said.

Williams was arrested after a short foot chase and police said they found an unloaded revolver inside the bag. Williams was charged with public indecency, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, obstructing a police officer, and no firearms owner's ID card.
