Joliet Man Faces Battery Charges After Fight With Ex-Girlfriend: Cops
Bryan Arias faces the charges after police said he shoved his ex-girlfriend to the ground in an argument and assaulted two other people.

JOLIET, IL —An 18-year-old Joliet man faces domestic battery charges after police said that he shoved his ex-girlfriend to the ground, police said.
Bryan Arias was arrested just before 8 a.m. on Monday, police said after he arrived at the residence of his ex-girlfriend in the 800 block of Vine Street. Police said that Arias arrived at the home to speak with the woman, who is the mother of his child.
The two got into an argument and police said that Arias became angry and shoved the woman to the ground. The grandfather of the woman then came to intervene, and police said that Arias shoved him against the door.

A neighbor then came to break up the disturbance and police said that Arias struck the neighbor in the head with a wire brush. Police arrived at the home and found Arias in the driveway and arrested him without incident.
All three victims refused medical treatment, police said. In addition to being charged with domestic battery, Arias was charged with aggravated battery and battery.
