Joliet Slammers Hosting Teen Tournaments

JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Slammers will host a pair of youth baseball tournaments this summer. The two eight-team tournaments will be for players 15 and under and 16 and under. The 15-and-under tournament will run from June 16 to June 18, and the 16-and-under tournament will go from June 30 to July 2.

The entry fee is $800 per team. Teams registering and placing a 50 percent deposit prior to Jan. 31 receive $100 off the total entrance fee.

Each player receives a T-shirt and complimentary ticket to a Slammers game. Participants in the 15-and-under tournament receive a ticket to a June 13 or 14 Slammers game. The 16-and-under participants receive a ticket for the June 29 game.
