Joliet Woman Jailed For Fondling Boy Gets Locked Up Again

JOLIET, IL — A Joliet woman jailed for fondling a young boy’s penis was locked up again for allegedly violating the state’s rules for sex offenders.

Anya Hageman, 24, was arrested and booked into the Will County jail Monday afternoon. She was charged with violating the sex offender registry.

Hageman ended up on the sex offender registry when she pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse in June 2012. She had been arrested for fondling an 11-year-old’s penis the year before, when she was 18. Hageman and the boy were members of the same household, according to court records.

Hageman was sentenced to probation but violated it and was sent to prison. She was released from Logan Correctional Center in November 2015.
