Knife At Plainfield Road Motel Leads To Arrest: Joliet Police
Charlie Eckard, 29, was on the scene and was placed into custody without incident, Joliet police announced.

JOLIET — The Joliet Police Department announced an overnight arrest in connection with a knife incident at the Townhouse Motel at 832 Plainfield Road.
On Thursday, 29-year-old resident Charlie Eckard was arrested and later released on a notice to appear in court on charges of aggravated assault.
At 1:32 a.m., Joliet police officers responded to the Townhouse Motel for a disturbance. The arrest reports indicate that officers determined that Eckard was in an argument with another male guest of the motel.

"It is believed that Eckard approached the victim and threatened him with a knife. Eckard was on the scene and was placed into custody without incident," Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English said.
