Long Train Blocks Joliet Railroad Crossing
Joliet police issued a Facebook alert on Thursday morning, notifying people about the traffic backup.
JOLIET — The Joliet Police Department issued an advisory on Facebook on Thursday morning letting people know that the railroad crossing on West Millsdale Road near Centerpoint Intermodal is now blocked because of a stopped train. There is no estimate at this time when the roadway may reopen, Joliet police let everyone know.
"Further details will be provided when the roadway has been reopened," the police said.
