Masturbator Now Wanted For Attempting to Lure Teen Into Car: Cops

JOLIET, IL — A Joliet man charged with masturbating in front of a woman after muttering a lecherous remark to her is now wanted for attempting to lure a teen into his car, according to a criminal complaint on file in Will County court.

Joseph Pinson, 24, was charged with two counts of child abduction Friday, one day after he was arrested for allegedly masturbating in front of a woman who was walking her dog near the corner of Glenwood Avenue and Mack Street.

Pinson pulled up in a Ford Taurus and called out to the 40-year-old woman, telling her, “You got a fat ass,” police said.

The woman could see Pinson had exposed his penis and was masturbating, police said.

Pinson then drove off, police said, but the woman called the cops and gave them his plate number.

The cops reportedly tracked Pinson down at his Herkimer Street house. He was arrested on a charge of public indecency and released on his own recognizance.

Since arresting Pinson Thursday morning, the police linked him to the Feb. 16 attempted child luring.

The teen was walking from Joliet West High School when Pinson attempted his abduction, the complaint said.

Pinson remains at large. The warrant for his arrest carries a $100,000 bond.
