Jody's to Open Second Location at Shell Gas Station on Larkin Avenue

Last week, Joliet Patch told you that Jody's Hot Dogs, who won our Readers' Choice contest for best hot dogs, would be opening a second location. We were able to confirm this information.

Jody's Express will open in April inside the Shell Gas Station at 401 Larkin Avenue. The site will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week. The location will have a limited menu, that Jody's Hot Dog co-owner Mike Villareal said that will include hot dogs, polish sausage sandwiches, gyros, salads and soups. He added that the business is looking into adding appetizers to the express location in the future.
