Mustache Music Fest Returns to Joliet; Joliet Library Extends Contest
You can still upload a photo to Patch for a chance to win a variety of prizes.

A couple weeks ago, we announced a partnership with the Joliet Public Library. They had organized a number of prizes that they were going to give away to anyone who uploaded a photo of themselves reading or using the library to this story.
But then the waters came. And we realize that you were probably way too busy mopping out your basement or perhaps event taking a boat to the grocery store to remember to upload a photo. So the library decided to extend the deadline to April 25.
It's really worth your while to enter a photo into the contest. The two main prizes the library is offering are:

- Birthday Party at Family Fun Zone for up to 10 guests (includes pizza and soft drinks, 10 arcade tokens for each guest, your choice of roller skating or laser tag, and more!)
- 2 tickets to the Rialto Square Theatre's An evening of Organ Music & Laughter (Saturday, April 27) (featuring world class keyboard artists and hosted by comedian Rex Havens)
Additionally, Patch will pick one random winner for a small Patch prize.
Speaking of music, the local music fest Mustache Fest is returning to Chicago Street Pub at 6 p.m., May 4. Admission is $8 to see eight bands. In conjunction with the bands, the pub also is holding a mustache contest. In addition to best mustache of 2013, prizes will be awarded for best female mustache (a fake, of course), and worst mustache, commemorating the least successful attempt at stachery.
This year, the event is adding an attraction. From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., there will be a shaving and styling party where stylists from Will County will shave and style your mustache to get you ready for the big competition. You can read and hear from each band by clicking here. More information on the fest can be found on its Facebook page.

- Five Guys is open! We told you about it on Saturday via the Joliet Facebook page. We can attest to the good advice from one of our readers: go left when you get in the door. When I visited on Sunday, I too wanted to go straight ahead. Also, just because the parking lot isn't full does not mean the restaurant isn't. I think we can rule this one a big hit.
- Aurelio's Pizza hosts economic relief night every Monday night, with 25 percent off orders placed after 4 p.m.
