Mutterer Spat in Wendy’s Worker’s Face: Cops
He jumped over the counter before letting loose with some spit, police said.

JOLIET, IL — A Joliet man jumped the counter at Wendy’s, muttered at workers and then spat in one’s face, police said.
Archaye Raine, 29, went into the Wendy’s at Center and Jefferson streets shortly about 9 p.m. Tuesday and vaulted the counter, police said.
Raine reportedly muttered at workers but they couldn’t understand what he was saying. When one of the workers approached to hear him better, Raine spat in his face, police said. He then reportedly left the restaurant.

The workers called the cops and after officers arrived, Raine returned, police said. He was spotted hanging around the drive-thru window and taken into custody.
Raine was charged with disorderly conduct, trespassing and battery. He was released on his own recognizance.
