One of Joliet's Most Arrested Men Vows To Kill Police This Time: JPD
Around 4 a.m., Joliet police responded to an area in front of Fresh Thyme store at 2700 Plainfield Road, prompting Justin Colnar's arrest.

JOLIET — One of the most often arrested persons by the Joliet Police Department, 43-year-old citizen Justin Colnar, was taken away in handcuffs on several new charges this week including criminal trespass, aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.
Colnar's latest confrontation with the police happened while most of the city was asleep.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, at 4:08 a.m. Wednesday, the overnight shift officers responded to an area in front of Fresh Thyme store at 2700 Plainfield Road after it was determined that Colnar had called 911 a total of 17 times during a span of two hours.

At the business, Joliet police found that Colnar was intoxicated, and he was near a table and chairs on the sidewalk in front of the grocery store with an open container of alcohol, police said.
Colnar indicated he did not need medical or police assistance. While speaking with the officers, English said, Colnar began to repeatedly threaten to kill the officers, and he approached one officer as if he wanted to fight.

Colnar was then placed into custody without incident.
This time, however, Colnar was not brought to the Will County Jail. Joliet police opted to give Colnar a notice to appear at the Will County Courthouse for his newest three charges.
