Patch Exclusive: Alleged Hooker Blames Trump For Arrest

She said she had no trouble in Crest Hill until Donald Trump was elected president.

CREST HILL, IL — A Chicago woman charged with prostitution following an undercover investigation of the massage parlor where she worked blamed her troubles on Trump.

“The reason may be Trump,” suggested Mickey Ye, who was arrested last month at 7Day Spa on Plainfield Road.

Ye, 32, was taken into custody along with Wanting Yu, 41, also of Chicago. Yu was charged with resisting police.

The undercover investigation of 7Day Spa was prompted by complaints from the public, said Crest Hill Police Chief Ed Clark. The operation was conducted by the Crest Hill police and the Cooperative Police Assistance Team.

The 7Day Spa was shut down due to the investigation and arrests, Clark said. Ye at first claimed the closure was actually due to business reasons.

“The contract was over, so we closed,” Ye said.

When asked if her arrest had any bearing on the massage parlor going out of business, Ye said, “Who told you?”

Ye said the 7Day Spa had operated for four years without any problems and insisted she is innocent.

“We didn’t do nothing,” she said, defiantly proclaiming, “We’ve got a lawyer and we’re going to fight it.”

Yu was also asked about her arrest and whether she shared Ye’s feelings that Donald Trump’s influence may have been a factor. She simply said, “I don’t know.”

Ye, who said she came to Chicago from China, was unconcerned about Trump’s immigration policies.
“I’m a citizen,” she said, “so I don’t care.”
