Plainfield Man Jailed For Breaking Guy's Jaw with Barroom Sucker Punch: Cops
The broken-jawed man had bumped into the puncher's girlfriend earlier in the evening, police said.

A Plainfield man was jailed for allegedly breaking another guy’s jaw with a sucker punch in a West Jefferson Street bar.
Jason Peal, 38, was picked up at his West Bentley Drive home Wednesday night and taken to the Will County jail. He bonded out Thursday morning.
Peal and his lady were at Joe’s Bar on Jefferson near Interstate 55 in March when a man bumped into the girlfriend, police said.

About an hour later, Peal allegedly sucker-punched the man and broke his jaw.
The man spent 12 days in the hospital and when he got out, went to the law and reported the attack, police said. The cops got a warrant for Peal’s arrest May 13. He was charged with aggravated battery.
