Price Reveal For Joliet Restaurant Off Houbolt Road That Just Closed

JOLIET — Some people may view this as the opportunity of their lifetime. Others may not. But in light of the permanent closing of Jimmy K's Handcrafted Burgers, an investment company has taken to LoopNet to let everyone know that the Joliet property near the Houbolt Road exit for Interstate 80 is now for sale.

The listing price may be less you think, it's $895,000, according to LoopNet. The address for the former Jimmy K's fast-food restaurant is 1422 Riverboat Center Drive.

The listing proclaims that the Jimmy K's includes a huge 1.2 acre lot with 43 parking spaces.

"Outstanding opportunity for operators and investors to purchase a well-built fast food building with (2) drive-thru windows and plenty of parking," the Lombard-based Illinois Real Estate Partners proclaimed in their LoopNet commercial advertisement.

The listing further advises that it's a 2,100 square foot building with space for dining room, slots gaming center, outdoor patio and huge back-of-the-house kitchen space. The kitchen includes: fully functional walk-in cooler and freezer, separate prep area with back door access, line cooking area with space for multiple grills, fryers and table coolers.
