Two Chicago women were arrested following an undercover prostitution investigation.

CREST HILL, IL — An undercover prostitution investigation led to the arrest of two Chicago women.

The city also shut down 7Day Spa, the Plainfield Road massage parlor where the two women were working, police said.

One of the women, 32-year-old Mickey Ye, was charged with prostitution. Another, Wanting Yu, 41, was charged with resisting police.

The Crest Hill police, along with the Cooperative Police Assistance Team, launched an investigation of 7Day Spa after receiving complaints from the public about “potential acts of prostitution” being performed at the massage parlor just south of Peach Street, said Crest Hill Police Chief Ed Clark.

The undercover operation culminated with the arrests of Ye and Yu last month. Both women were released on bond.

“Obviously we won’t tolerate this in the city,” Clark said, adding that the police will continue to keep an eye out for illicit activity.
