Prowler Broke Into 4 Grade Schools in 2 Towns: Complaint

He was charged with burglary for allegedly breaking into four different elementary schools.

JOLIET, IL — A Chicago man broke into four different elementary schools in two towns over the course of two months, according to a criminal complaint filed in Will County court.

Michael Duniver, 29, was arrested by the Romeoville police Tuesday and booked into the Will County jail on four counts of burglary.

According to the complaint, Duniver broke into Pioneer Elementary School in Bolingbrook on Dec. 8, Robert C. Hill Elementary School in Bolingbrook on Dec. 14, St. Andrew Elementary School in Romeoville, also on Dec. 14, and Beverly Skoff Elementary School in Romeoville on Jan. 9.

Duniver is a Chicago Transit Authority employee and father of two, according to court papers. He appeared in court Wednesday and his bond was set at $750,000.

Duniver remains in custody at the Will County jail.
